Two graduate students from An-Najah National University, Montaser Jbareen and Fayez Khandakji, participated in a specialized training titled “Genomic-Assisted Breeding Approaches” from May 5–9, 2025, at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy. Held under the EU-funded BREEDTECH project (Erasmus+), the course aimed to advance education in plant genomic breeding. The intensive program combined theory and practice on topics such as genome structure, sequencing techniques, population genomics, GWAS, and gene editing. The students thanked the University for enabling their participation, which deepened their expertise and allowed them to engage with global experts in the field.
